Scott Huennekens, President and Chief Executive Officer
Scott Huennekens has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since April 2002. Previously, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Digirad Corporation, a medical imaging company from 2000 to 2002. He joined Digirad as a start-up in 1997 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to President and CEO and the Board of Directors in 2000. From 1993 to 1997, he worked at Baxter International, Inc. in the Edwards Cardiovascular Division with increasing responsibilities including Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Novacor division. Mr. Huennekens is a member of the Board of Directors for Volcano Corporation, Scripps Translational Science Institute, the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA), BIOCOM, and the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

John Dahldorf, Chief Financial Officer
John Dahldorf has served as our Chief Financial Officer since July 2003. From November 2001 to March 2002, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Digirad Corporation, a medical imaging company. From March 1999 to November 2001, Mr. Dahldorf served as the Finance Director of Arrow Electronics, Inc., a distributor of electronic components and computer products. He received a B.B. in Finance and an M.B.A. from Western Illinois University.

David Sheehan, Chief Operations Officer
David Sheehan has served as Chief Operating Officer since February 2012. Prior to this role, Mr. Sheehan was the President of the IVUS and FM Business Units since March 2010. From June 2008 to March 2010, he served as an Executive Vice President, and has had our wholly-owned subsidiary Volcano Japan KK reporting into him since June 2008. From May 2005 to May 2008, Mr. Sheehan was a consultant or CEO for various start-up companies in the San Diego area. From September 2000 to April 2005, Mr. Sheehan held positions at Digirad Corporation, a venture backed medical imaging company he took public, where he most recently served as the President and Chief Executive Officer, and previously as President, Digirad Imaging Solutions. Prior to September 2000, he held jobs in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Operations Management at Baxter and Haemonetics. Mr. Sheehan received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

Michel E. Lussier, President, Clinical and Scientific Affairs
Michel E. Lussier has served as President, Clinical and Scientific Affairs since October 2012. Prior to this role, Mr. Lussier served as Group President, Advanced Imaging Systems, Scientific Affairs, and Volcano Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India Operations. From March 2006, he was Managing Director of Volcano Europe and served as our Vice President, General Manager of Europe, Africa and Middle East Operations from July 2002 to March 2006. In February 2002, he founded MedPole S.A./N.V., a European distribution incubator for medical device startup companies located in Brussels. From October 1998 to January 2002, Mr. Lussier served as the Vice President and General Manager, Europe of Novoste Corp., a medical technology company. Mr. Lussier received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Montreal and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.

Junichi Osawa, President and Managing Director, Volcano Japan
Junichi Osawa has served as President and Managing Director of Volcano Japan since November 2005. Mr. Osawa comes to Volcano with over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry. He spent almost two decades with General Electric's Yokogawa Medical Systems, Tokyo as Managing Director for Diagnostic Ultrasound and CT Imaging business and Global Ultrasound Business as Vice President Asia Pacific. From April 2000 to March 2005, Mr. Osawa worked at Medtronic, Inc. as the Managing Director of the vascular business in Japan, where he had responsibility of cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, customer support, regulatory, clinical functions and distribution. Mr. Osawa received a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Aoyama Gakuin University School of Technology and Science in Tokyo, Japan.

George Quinoy, President, Commercial U.S. & APLAC Sales
George Quinoy has served as President, Commercial U.S. & APLAC Sales since October 2012. Prior to this role, Mr. Quinoy served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales. From July 2003 to December 2008, he was the Senior Vice President of Global Sales. From July 2003 to December 2007, Mr. Quinoy also served as General Manager for Volcano Japan and Asia Pacific. He served as the Vice President of Sales for Jomed, Inc., a medical technology company from August 2001 to July 2003. Mr. Quinoy served as Vice President of Sales for AVE, Inc., and then Medtronic AVE, Inc. post-acquisition from August 1997 to September 2000. Prior to Medtronic, he spent a decade as a Sales Executive for ACS/Guidant. Mr. Quinoy received a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida.

Michele Perrino, President, Europe, Africa, Middle East, and India Operations
Michele Perrino has served as President for Volcano Europe, Africa, Middle East, and India (EMEAI) Operations since October 2012. Prior to this role, Mr. Perrino was Vice President and General Manager for EMEAI. Before joining Volcano in June 2007 as Country Manager for Italy, he held various management positions for Ethicon Endo Surgery and Cordis, divisions of Johnson & Johnson, Inc., based in Italy. He is the Chairperson of the Cardiovascular Group of the Medical Technology Industry Association (Eucomed). Mr. Perrino received a Master degree in Economics from the University of Bari (Italy) and Santander (Spain), and a Post-graduate Degree in Finance.

John Onopchenko, Executive Vice President, Strategy, Business Development, and Integrations
John Onopchenko has served as the Executive Vice President, Strategy, Business Development, and Integrations since May 2013. Mr. Onopchenko served on the Volcano Board of Directors from 2002 until 2013. He was a founder and Managing Director of Synergy Life Science Partners, L.P., a venture capital firm. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Onopchenko was Vice President, Venture Investments, with Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation. From 1996 to 1999, he served as Vice President and a member of the board of directors of Advanced Sterilization Products, a division of Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Onopchenko serves on the boards of directors of various private companies in the healthcare and life sciences industry. Mr. Onopchenko holds a Masters degree in Business from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.

Heather Ace, Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Heather Ace has served as Executive Vice President of the Global Human Resources Organization since June 2012. Prior to joining Volcano, Ms. Ace was Vice President of Human Resources for the Chief Operating Officer and President of the Life Sciences business at Life Technologies, a $3.2 billion Life Sciences tools and technologies company. While at Life Technologies, Ms. Ace also held several leadership roles leading HR teams across business units, functions, the EMEA region and numerous M&A transactions. Prior to Life Technologies, Ms. Ace was a partner with Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (now DLA Piper) practicing litigation and transactional employment law, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Ace received a B.A. in Law & Society from University of California, Santa Barbara and J.D. from Santa Clara University.

Joseph Burnett, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Functional Management Business Unit
Joe Burnett has served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Functional Management Business Unit since March 2011. Prior to this role, he was Executive Vice President of Marketing, the Vice President of Global Marketing, and the Business Unit leader for both the Image Guided Therapy and the Functional Management Businesses. Mr. Burnett joined Volcano in November 2004 and has held numerous Product Development, Marketing, Training and Education roles during his Volcano tenure. Prior to joining Volcano, he was an engineer and marketing manager at Guidant from September 1999 to November 2004. Mr. Burnett received a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Darin Lippoldt, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer
Darin Lippoldt has served as our Senior Vice President and General Counsel since August 2010. From November 2003 until he joined Volcano, Mr. Lippoldt served as Associate General Counsel at Amylin Pharmaceuticals. He previously practiced corporate and securities law with the law firms of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP and Matthews and Branscomb, P.C. Mr. Lippoldt received a B.B.A. in Finance, an M.A. in International Relations, and a J.D. from St Mary’s University.

Nancy Lelicoff, Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality
Nancy Lelicoff has served as Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality since November 2009. From May 2009 to October 2009, Ms. Lelicoff was Vice President of Quality Assurance. Prior to joining Volcano, she was a consultant in the life sciences industry from 2007 to 2009 and a corporate Vice President of Quality Assurance for Boston Scientific from June 2003 through March 2007. Ms. Lelicoff has over twenty years of experience in the life sciences industry most of which with Johnson & Johnson. Ms. Lelicoff received a B.S.E. in Mathematical Engineering from the University of Arizona and M.S.E in Engineering and Technical Management from West Coast University.

Donna Collins, Vice President of Global Corporate Marketing and Imaging
Donna Collins has served as Vice President of Global Corporate Marketing and Imaging since March 2011. Prior to this role, she was Vice President of Global Marketing, Disposables, and Vice President of Global Marketing, Imaging and Systems. From January 2006 to September 2010, Ms. Collins was the Senior Partner at Emerge Consulting. From May 2000 to July 2005, she was Vice President of Global Coronary Marketing at Medtronic, and the Global Marketing Director of Coronary Technologies from May 1999 to May 2000. Prior to Medtronic, Ms. Collins held numerous management positions at Guidant in international marketing, corporate accounts, product management, and pricing. Ms. Collins started her career at Dow Chemical in Engineering. Ms. Collins received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California – Los Angeles and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from the Anderson School of Business at the University of California – Los Angeles.

Jonathan Hartmann, Vice President and General Manager, Forward Looking IVUS, Structural Heart and Impact Medical Business Unit
Jonathan Hartmann has served as Vice President and General Manager of the Forward Looking Imaging Business Unit since August 2010. Prior to this role, Mr. Hartmann was Vice President, Sales and Marketing with G.I. Dynamics, a medical device company offering obesity and diabetes therapy products. With over 20 years in the medical device industry, Mr. Hartmann had led sales, marketing, business development and R&D teams for a wide range of companies, both large and early-stage start-up, including U.S. Surgical, Guidant Corporation, Urologix, Cyberkinetics and GI Dynamics. Mr. Hartmann received a B.S. from St. Lawrence University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Neil Hattangadi, MD, Vice President and General Manager, Peripheral Vascular Business Unit
Neil Hattangadi has served as VP and General Manager of the Peripheral Vascular Business Unit since October 2012. Prior to this role, Dr. Hattangadi served as Vice President and Business Unit Leader, Intravascular Therapies. He joined Volcano in July 2011 as Vice President, Functional Measurement and Image Guided Therapies. From 2008 to 2011, Dr. Hattangadi was a healthcare equities investor at hedge funds including Citadel Asset Management and SAC Capital. He previously served as Vice President, Molecular Programs and FoxHollow Clinical Affairs at ev3 Inc., joining the company through the acquisition of FoxHollow Technologies. He was also a consultant with McKinsey and Company in their Boston and Silicon Valley offices. Dr. Hattangadi received a B.S.E. from Duke University, an M.Sc. from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and an M.D. from Harvard University.
